What do i need to compile KDE based applications ?

Hello, i'd like to ask which kde parts do i need for compiling kde based applications ... do i need to install KDE in order to compile and use kde based applications (for example k3b) I'm running xfce with xfwm window manager)

I think you need the QT version 3 dev libraries.

You need QT3, kdelibs, kdebase and aRts
