c y it not good to have 1 app do evryting? it's the KISS philosophy. 1 app = 1 job. 1 app directly proportional to 3 jobs equal trouble. What is a messenger doing checking your email and sending files among other unnecessary tasks. I hope they don't implement some builtin file sending thing in Jabber right now.

Anybody know the status of Jabber now? It working well? I don't have a personal doorway to the technology world right now. Have to be on a 'symbiotic' relationship with work. can't do much.
