    A new worm posing as a come-on to a Santa Claus site is traveling across all the major instant messaging networks, a security firm warned Tuesday, and when recipients visit the bogus site, they're infected with a file hidden from sight by a rootkit.

    i'm stiull using trillian 3.1 pro. Hope they forget to plant it in it as well

    well I dont think you get infected via the messenger itself. Its by following the link. So if one of ur friends got the virus and sent you the link if you follow it changes are ull get it too. I know most Jamaicans who get catched by this, we dont follow such stupid links.

    i good to go, i think, hardly use messengers and i don't click random links but i can't speak for the other users on my home network.
