I'm using striclty RedHat 9.0 for my servers, but I do still mess around with SuSE. I'm currently downloading the latest version of SuSE Linux 9.0

Are you downloading via the ftp directories install? If not... where did you get the link to the isos?

I'm downloading SuSE 9.0 from a friend in the states. If you would like a copy it's $300.00 for the burn.

Ok, I need help figuring out this problem. I managed to install ActiveTCL (thanks igodit ;D) and am now trying to get AMSN to run. when I try to run it, I get the following:

    LINDOWSPC:~/msn/msn# /usr/local/ActiveTcl/bin/wish amsn
Error in startup script: can't read "xml_attrs(-1_trace)": no such variable
    while executing
    "set trace $xml_attrs(${id}_trace)"
    (procedure "sxml:arse" line 19)
    invoked from within
    "sxml:arse $skin_id"
    (procedure "load_smileys" line 13)
    invoked from within
    "load_smileys"
    invoked from within
    "if { $initialize_amsn == 1 } {
    ################################################## #############
    create_dir $HOME
    create_dir $HOME/plugins
    ..."
    (file "./config.tcl" line 933)
    invoked from within
    "source [file join $program_dir config.tcl]"
    (procedure "reload_files" line 19)
    invoked from within
    "reload_files"
    (file "amsn" line 177)

    Any ideas? ???

I need to get this line (/usr/local/ActiveTcl/) into the PATH and MANPATH as stated in the ActiveTCL readme. I have been trying to find out how to modify the PATH under Linux but no luck. Any help on this would be great as well.

    Peace

What did you do? Alright cd to the dir that your AMSN folder is, then type ./AMSN or ./MSN which I think it is.
