Enabling Calendar option

How do I enable calendar in PHP? I saw the following URL but I don't know where or how to configure these. I am using LINUX 9.

I had installed from RPMs the --enable-calendar was one of the confuiguration options. Apparently taht was not my problem.

I saw that it was enabled by viewing the server's test.php page. http://server/test.php
