Visual Mis-Perceptions (As suggested by Xeno)
Aoccdrnig to a reschearer at an Elingsh uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in
waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are; the olny iprmoatnt tihng is taht the

not raed ervey lteter by itslef but, rahter, the wrod as a wlohe.

It's the same concept in psychology where in the following sentence:
The reason the chicken crossed the
the road was to get to the other side.
most people will not have realised that there are two thes in the sentence. The brain automatically eliminates punctuation or grammatical errors during the reading process. That's why word processors and e-mail clients ship with grammar and spell checkers.
Perception is quite a fascinating thing.
Ask someone to pronounce, mac and then subsequently, hine. Then ask them to join the two words together and pronounce it. Most people will pronounce it:
mac-hayn
and not
masheen
Try the same thing with He and ad. Most people will pronounce it:
Hee-ad
and not
Hed
Again, the brain truncates the pronounciation of the word by trimming the expandable features of vowels.
Fascinating trick.

Xeno.. you brought me way back to first year psych there ... and funnily enough it becomes easier to understand why teachers put such an emphasis on critical thinking ... the only one o those that got me going for more than a half-a-second was the green shade .. (TUFF!!!) .. but I think with practice these innate weakness in the way humans perceive (which many think is due mostly to experientialk learning and thus can be retaught or even unlearned) can be overcome ...
an example: with the squares... backstepping my thought process reads a little like this .. i first saw 9 sets squares... then the purple lines.. then figured if the purple lines actually follow the squares then they can't actually be lean... the image then shifted... however was blown out of the water by my turning my head... forcing me to re-teach the brain.

We can begin to see why Xeno's Personality is the way it is.
