observerd issues:
ATi's SB400 Southbridge lacks SATA-2, SATA RAID 5 and 0+1, USB 2.0 performance is average.
*SATA is not used in my case and has been disabled.
*Currently the speed of USB 2.0 on my computer doesn't matter as i only have 3 low-speed USB devices.

my solution:
1. Replace motherboard with one based on ATi's R482 and the ULi M1575 southbridge.
