    Why cant you just upgrade the kernel? Whats the video card have to do with anything, or did you mean a full duplex audio card?

    As for the X100p good luck trying to get rid of the echoooo'ssssssssssss

    That box doesnt have a working videocard, the old one died a while back.
    It never really bothered me as I never used it locally. I plan to upgrade the
    kernel but its kinda hard to do it in the dark.

    The echos are due to the card or is it bad wiring?

    Its the card. Dont be fooled by that bad wiring crap, millions have purchased that card all experiencing the same problem... Its discontinued for a reason

    Default Benifits of Asterisk

    1) Has anybody here implemented Asterisk in a business environment and if yes, how stable is it with several concurrent calls?

    2) Is anyone here using it at home and if yes what benifits have you gained from having it at home and how many lines are connected to it?

    Last time i tested it in a working environ. concurrent calling.. it was pretty solid. I couldn't leave it unattended though after bout 15mins or so we had to restart it.. Crashed

    Not our fault still, the stupid workers doing stupid things to upset it

    Haven't used it at home.. mainly bcuz i dont have the equipment like i did at work

    Does anybody have a asterisk 2.8 up and running currently? I'm havin some trouble with my inbound using FWD (FreeWorldDialup). That actually one of the way i have one of my US number plus the UK number. Any help would be appreciated.

    Igodit, where do i get that info from? Do you require the sip.conf or extensions.conf or do i have to login onto the system itself and run a command?

    PS. The system is currently in florida, if you require i can setup an ext. on the system for you. If anything PM me. Thanks
