    Default ajax, who's using it?

    ok well tonight i discovered ajax. looking into learning it, anyone out here already using it? if so would you be interested in doing a training course for a small class? and if you have weblinks just post it please, thnx

    no-one? i would have thought jamaican developers would be all over this. A group of us at school have decided to train ourselves to use this technique. anyone else interested?

    Nder told me about Ajax, he even showed me some demo sites. I admit it seems to be very good but it hasn't caught my interest yet. I also think the name is a bit tacky.

    Let's hope it catches your interest soon. A lot of next-gen web apps are being built on this technology. You may start coming accross people requesting this skillset from their programmers in the near future.

    Besides GMail, Google Maps and the upcoming email system from Yahoo which is rumored to be 100 times better than GMail, here are some interesting applications that have been brought to the web via Ajax:

    Online Spreadsheet
    Online Wordprocessor

    Google seems to be one of the biggest early adopters of Ajax and many of their tools utilize it. One very simple (relative) but useful one is Google Suggest which queries google's server in real time as you type in the search box and offers suggestions. Very nice.

    LOL LOL, google suggest is one of the hardest sites i see in a while
    Why did they exclude over 18 content?????
