Election 2002 - Electronic or Not ??

Can anyone remember if it was decided to go fully electronic voting for this upcoming election??

Did the EAC not test the electronic process in the NE St. Ann by election?

Electronic voting? I was so busy listening out for the election date that I forgot we've paid Millions of hard-earned dollars for an electronic election system that has yet to be proven. If memory serves me correct, the first TRW system was scrapped/changed/modified for the "present" system.

What IS the latest news regarding this system ???

I remebered hearing something about new companies been in the fray of developing this system but quite frankly did not pay much attention to the article. Can't even remember how long ago this was.

It would be very interesting however, to find out what happened!!

Hey guys.... I contact the EOJ re same and wass inform that we don't have any such system. A vendor demo was held but no decission was taken to purchase any.

Has for those $$mm spent......arn't we forgetting that us tax payers are always there to provide much much more.

I wonder how long will it be before they decide to pick it up again.
