    Lightbulb hype amd 64 3500+ clawhammer

    whats the hype around the amd 64 3500+ clawhammer, i see lot people buying it over the venice know that it run hotter and don't support ss3.

    it did hype as they were said to be underclocked FX-55. So if you get this you could have otten nice overlcocks with it. Its still a really good core but other things have replaced this core now

    would you buy a 3500+ clawhammer over the 3500+ venice, cuz i see maxfactor buy a 3700+ clawhammer for his pc and everybody is buying it.must be something more to it that i don't know

    there is no 3700 clawhammer on 939 boards.

    and yes I would cause its cheaper and alson the optimizations that have been implimented...

    look for a 3500 claw an newegg an compare it to a 3500 venice and u will see.

    clawhammer is a better core, argument done.


    clawhammer...wouldnt be a underclocked and multiplier locked(important) fx-55...the issue of l2 cache comes into play..

    wait a min here...clawhammer is a better core?when since? i thought the Venice and San Diego cores were better than their predecessors due to their enhanced memory controllers and other optimizations.
