Dude, Aren't the "good things that come to those who wait" just the leftovers from the people who got them first.

wel interesting speeds, but i think i have seen a forum quite similar to this! all i realy need is sumthin like a 256kbps if i have anythin to do with sumthin like 20mbits, i definatley would need a newer hard drive mabe a serial ata connecttion - wich means a new mother board! at 20mbits my hard drive would cry! (1.53 ghz 512 ddr) a think 5200rpm hd, i dont think i could write to my hard drive at 20mbps! so i would waste a lot o that bandwidth

I am sorry but really though, what would y'all be doing with all that bandwidth?

People only use it for illegal activities.

not true.. with such a upload speed one could host their own servers or mirrors.. or buy software on the net.. and get it in almost minutes.. can u think of purchasing a Visual Studio DVD and then have to downlaod a 3 gig image on a 256 K connection.. Also there is a lot of free stuff on the net.. For me I download lots of free anime movies and series (all legal) In a month I download 50 gigs of anime.. I could do that same 50 gigs in shorter time on a faster connection.

To add to that leoandru, there a persons who work from home and have to upload huge files and/or do a lot of data entry bundles with VOIP calls at the same time.

Multi-tasking like that eats at bandwidth. Now image more that one computer doing the samething.

I go further. Gaming environments would experience greater gameplay experience with dealing with competitive online gaming.

This state of mind is not common, but it is essential for right thinking; where it is absent, discussion is apt to become worse than useless.

i don't know what i would do with that bandwith, currently i only max my 600k J2 connection when i'm downloading software to try out, or video reviews of hardware, or video game trailers. i also just started keeping up with the mod scene, buy a game and download all he mods for it i can find, apart from that lower bandwith would/should be more than adequate for my forum/emails/messenger activites but offer me more and if i can afford it i'll get it

I'd have a few game servers running, unreal, cod and bf2 set t0 16-32 players. That would be so sweet, I'd probably start renting out game servers... scuse me I have some plans to draw up....
