Need Free Registry Cleaner

I downloaded about 6 different registy cleaners, all they did was scan, non actually cleaned the registry or fixed the errors they found, for that to be done registration is needed

Is'nt their anymore 100% Free Registry Cleaners out there

i don't have a freeware recommendation but i use fully functional trialware, jv16 power tools 2005

I have Registry Cleaner 4.3 from jv16.org. This was when he released his program as freeware in 2001. Since then, he has packaged it with other tools and selling it. This is what Blaqmale is using.

I find it indispensable! I use it so often especially when programs feel like doing thier own thing on my computer. I just check the registry and delete any references to them.

It's a pretty good tool. Since it is freeware, I can pass it on to you. PM me if you're interested.

I agree Registry Cleaner is a very good program. I also recommend CCleaner; it cleans tracks as well as fixes issues and it's also free and adware/spyware free. http://www.ccleaner.com/

Thanks for the links guys ... i got one from Arch_Angel and funny enough i use to use that back in 2000 never knew it was still around and still free

CCleaner looks good a well, definatly gonna add it to my software library.

btw, the microsoft reg cleaner was not working for me, it just kept hanging

I don't know about it still being around. And it's no longer free. That is the original program from 2001, which was free then. Been using it ever since.
