Thanks for this information xphat. I am wondering who sponsored the service though?

I think this was an idea of Gokid and Matronyx who were hoping to see things like this in place as soon as the GAJ got afoot.

Re: Their site however I think more can be done... :-\ sorry just my opinion. There home page could have a little more life. My reason for saying this is.... on the home page they provide individual links to all the patches that they offer and then inturn has a download link which provides the same files again (ftp).

I guess all this should be understandable seeing that the just opened the server July 31, 2003 (it said so on the site)

So I guess well will just have to start play here and dominating this field too huh tronyx ?

Are these servers only for their customers?

Ok lemme adress the first issue first..
1. The site - The site is under construction (Im the one who's building it), I had to put something out by the first of august so i splashed something together real quick and made it live.
2. The server as of right now is not only for anngel customers but clearly they will get better service as its local on the network so anngel customers will have latency of ~100ms where others will have higher ping times.
3. The server is not yet sponsered, any sponsers who want to help to sponser it can contact me @ xphat@anngel.com.

If you have any ideas of other game servers to be put on the server also lemme know the games you play other than the ones that are already running

i couldnt get to the downloads section, but maybe that is because i am at work and they might have disabled ftp browsing, or it might be because i am behind a firewall, i have to try it at home.

and y cant people with illegal versions(keys) for ut2k3 cant play get on the server

The server is an official UT2k3 server sorry theres no way around the illegal keys thing :-\
The Ftp thing I have no idea my server doesnt seem to like IE's FTP connection :P

Oh and the forums are up on the site... i hope to get chat and a site redeisgn underway but, you know those things take time :P
