hey what do u think is the scariest game out there?my answer is the silent hill series.telll me what series u think i the scariest.

the reason i said the silent hill series is because of the sounds,the fog and the creatures that r in this game which makes u feel afraid.ive played all 4 silent hill an trust mi dem scary because at some points u dont know where the creatures r,the sound plays on ur senses,the fog makes it harder to see where the creatures r an that sort of stuff unlike resident evil where u practically see the zombies coming at u.the puzzles r harder than resident evil puzzles,it has better sound effects that carries off the feeling and that sort of stuff

i heard that silent hill scary but i nvr played through em

doom is not scary it's just...um...dark

my vote goes to RE and all the trousers i soiled while playing them over the years

yup only played resident evil so naturally they get my vote.. but seriously though a nuff time dat game gimme near heart attacks..

never played any of the silent hill games, but i played doom 3 in hi res late at night with the sound on and to me it was scary and i'm not one to get scared so easily

I only played resident evil from the list, but i have seen clips of the suffering pc game, it looked pretty interesting, u have it Nesteran?

Well while I must agree with you all on this....I am taking a more old school approach....the scariest game I have ever played was Thief 1 The Dark Project. That is a game that totally engolfs the player and trancends you into the Medival Victorian Age that the game is centered around....where magic and sorcery is the order of the day...the storyline and plot of the game also adds to the mystery & intrigue.....havent seen a game to make me piss my pants like Thief 1 to this day....I mean its gonna take more than ugly looking Trijens and Zombies to scare me....

i admit guys resident evil is scary at points but trust mi,if u play a silent hill ur mind will change instantly.I really should have added a few more games like the suffering cause thats scary as well.

Yo i thought i was the only one who knew about Theif 1: Dark Project, this game was very scary and hard when i played it, it cool still, i lost it after a fromat and had no backup but i forgot about it, Theif 1 is the scariest for me, thanx for the reminder Cultus, this is definitely a sweet game. How far u got in it?
