This is another classical example of "money talks". At the end of the day it's only the people that really believe in opensource that stay with it... as a side hobby. I mean come on, it's virtually impossible for someone to make money off opensource. That's why I see it as a hobbyist thing.
He who hesitates, dies.
How is that? how would u explain MySQL, Novell, IBM, etc... ?I mean come on, it's virtually impossible for someone to make money off opensource. That's why I see it as a hobbyist thing.
i dont see how ms would uphold the concept and ideals of opensource though its really just not their nature. only thing this move will help ms understand thier opponent [ nix ] better. but what will that help them achieve in the end. the main thing that nix users want i dont think ms will ever be able to deliver.
