why? cuz them 4 time$$ the price?

Because they offer more features, duh.

for example, Reason offers a whole range of "software hardware": mixer, redrum, EQ, Compressor, FX, etc, AND it has better editing facilities.

I do admit that the price is high, but there are ways....
Anyway it might be worth the price?
The fox was probably right - they could have been sour grapes.

    Default tsk tsk tsk

it goes back to the same thing.
What is FL? FL is a VST host.
FL is a MIDI capable sequencer
    FL is a Sampler
    has built in synth

    what is reason?
    is a VST host.
    is a MIDI capable sequencer
    is a Sampler
    has built in synths

i'm not saying reason doesn't worth more that FL
no, cuz the features them deh there

but it would work out back to the same price or less if u bought VST/VSTi's and used them in FL.

Reason just add this realistic interface and (yes, i like the routings)

but it all comes down to what u want...

as for me, FL will do....
reason doesn't enhace your creativity.....Nor does FL

it is all up to the composer to make himself a good beat with those tools
