yup. its a pretty good Hardware replacement...
but let me tell you, FL studio is a VST Sampler/sequencer Host....which means other vST/ VSTi plugins can be used with it.
it's nice...but u gonna need samples of course....just like if u bought an MPC 2000xl or 3000
the more Samples and Plugins u have, the sweeter FL studio (fruityloops) gets
yup, i love this program. i use it for when i'm practicing my guitar.
Yeah a friend of mine had it and it was pretty cool but now he has another program (can't remember the name)
excuse my ignorance but what exactly is a VST Sampler/sequencer Host?but let me tell you, FL studio is a VST Sampler/sequencer Host....which means other vST/ VSTi plugins can be used with it.
"Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius -- and a lot of courage -- to move in the opposite direction." -- A. Einstein
its a plugin architecture for instruments.excuse my ignorance but what exactly is a VST Sampler/sequencer Host?
eg. when you have a electronic keyboard, you can press a button to change the way the keynotes sound....in some instances you can have drums, strings, flutes and so on.....
so some music guys will make up a bunch of instruments with totally unique sounds.
these are the vst intruments you hear about.
a host will chain them in and you get the sounds....
other host programs are cubase and logic......
so in essence, you could use logic and cubase vst instruments in your program....
there are some hardware ones but the cost is high...software compensates with its greater flxibility and cheaper setup.....
wow
thanks guys
kinda clueless now but this deffinately on the list of programs me and a couple friends need to check out
I've used it a bit, made nothin too special though, but with practice i could master it.

Trust me, next to those two, fruityloops is like wet toilet paper.
The fox was probably right - they could have been sour grapes.
