Very good book. I hope the movie does it justice.
Makes you stop and think though....how much is fiction?
Given the fact that there seems to be so many things about the Catholic Church that are not in the public domain, even to the most faithful, could there have been a secret the world could not handle?
That would change everything as we know it.
As far as I know there is no movie planned, but it would make a heck of a great movie. Dan Brown is a brilliant author, taking fact and conspiracy, with a good mixture of conjecture and put together a worthy novel. If you have read the book, take time out to watch the documentary on the History Channel, I think.
Then after that take a look at Angels and Demons, also by Dan Brown. This novel will raise your your eyebrows even more!

Hey I was at the Movie Store in Mo. Bay & saw the DVD the da vinci code & was foolish enough to rent it. Blaaa. Dont waste your time to rent it. Just read the book, because all the dvd did was ask U to read the book & beat around the bush for 45 minutes.
O Ok.....well if i get my hands on it...come to think of it...i think my girlfriend had it...she was asking me some weird questions the other day...maybe i'll read it then give my views. Is it a thick book? Less than 500 pages??

The movie is scheduled and on target to start filming on June 30, 2005 inside of the Louvre - a first in the history of that institution. It will star Tom Hanks in the lead role and will open to audiences in June 2006.Originally Posted by ramesh
