how can pc games be cheaper? u have to buy a $200 video card everyone 6 months to get the best performance out of ur game while with consoles u spend like $300 for a console that will last 4 years.

plus pc developers like to release games with bugs because they know they can update it later.

Last night I heard that the PS3 would be around $500. I think that its worth it and I was expecting it to be even higher I guess the reason why sony cut down on the power was to cut down the price too.

I'm not really a gamer (I just play the driving/racing genre: GT4, NFS underground) but I've more or less stopped playing games on my pc because I don't have a high-end system and with a console I know the games would work. No disappointments due to video card not supporting, etc.

A better questionn would be to ask who is going to get a hdtv because of their future console?
That is true but I must stray a bit here. Do you believe that Caribbean people are not as smart as Asians? Do you believe that we cannot innovate some of the new technology? The whole point is in the Caribbean people are just concerned about buying stuff but I know that we can come up with some new stuff that would allow new technologies like HDTV to be cheaper. I hope I can contribute.

the only way i see hdtv gettin cheaper is time.
time to allow the tv's to saturate the market and their end up being less demand than supply.
cus dont get it twisted even though most ppl cant afford a hdtv, thier is more demand for it than supply.
when suttin like all cable and satellite channels anounce an agreement to go full hd, and a little company like GE sell a 20" hd, or even 30 or 40. for reasonable price and americans, caribbean ppl and asians alike get into it.
and force the sony's and samsungs to make flat screen hd's and so on cheaper.
thats the method to it i think
