pi-hole - network-wide ad blocking
Anyone else here using pi-hole?
If so, have you noticed a difference in your traffic?

Testing it out at work but no Pi at home. What kind of differences have you seen?

Haven't done an official performance test myself.
Desktop performance isn't really noticeable. There does appears to be a slight improvement when using mobile devices.
It was initially installed at home as an attempt at a general ad blocker/filter for visitors with mobile devices.
Honestly got tired of the dramatic dip in network performance when visitors came by. This application seems to have helped some.

I can appreciate that kind of change since it puts less bits on the wire for each web page loaded so more BW is available for legitimate non-ad-based traffic. I haven't deployed it wide enough to look at the difference in detail but logically, that was an expected result.
