Default JA - Former first source of Apple trademarks?

So you mean all this time JA was the place to discover future Apple products? Wow.

"For years, self-styled gumshoes have unearthed the names of soon-to-launch gadgets by searching trademark offices from Jamaica to Trinidad. Then that got a lot harder."

The news broke about it last year IIRC from Reuters. It's funny too because they file here in Jamaica first yet Jamaican iPhone users haven't access to the iTunes Music Store or even Apple Music. Much unlike Trinidad and Barbados.... Capitalism at its finest.

Well... some of our carriers, like FLOW are pissed because they can't whitelist the traffic and offer tailored plans to iPhone. But we'll make do I guess

Interesting, but nothing for us to be proud of, an indictment actually on the backward state of the country, where Apple etc just exploit our backward systems to hide their trade marked product names.
