Wireless modems from overseas

So I'm in a bit of a predicament...I can't get flow or Digi play where I live. Of course Digicel 4g modems are not available on a whole scale level anymore. This has forced me to source a modem on line, now here is where I need ur help. Is it safe to purchase an unlocked 4g wireless modem from overseas and be able to get unlimited data here similar to the digicel 4g modems?

I'm desperate here, need all the help and advice I can get. Thanks

Modems from abroad will not work on Digicel's Wimax network. Caricel provides an unlimited network and Dekal, check and see if they are available where you live.
