Default AMD Ryzen I am getting it!!!!

Even so, the supposed R7-1700X is more than a match for the Core i7-6850K in most tests, outstripping it in many of them and giving the Core i7-6900K a run for its money too. *Even if the R7-1700X does perform close to the Core i7-6850K, it's still a fantastic CPU for the money; the latter costs nearly twice as much at $609 on Newegg right now, while the AMD *CPU is slated to retail for just $382, plus the latter sports two more cores and four more threads.

Amazingly, Ryzen CPUs are turning up on price comparison websites already, as well as leaks from retailers globally. Below is a compiled list via several sources including www.wccftech.com, which paints a top-to-bottom picture of what the prices will look like - just $129 for the Ryzen 3-1100, which is a 4-core part with 8MB cache and 3.5GHz clock speed.

    $320 for 16 threads that perform like a 6900k.

I am going to be modest and go with the 6C/12T 1600X option for $259.

I thought I was the only one eagerly awaiting for Ryzen to land. Thanks God for leaks because I almost caved in and bought the i5 6600 many times.

Selling my existing system as we speak. Not my video card though. Trying to get rid of the 4690K before it devalues any further.
