Question Recommended router for limiting WiFi bandwidth?

So as the title asks, I have the Arris modem from Flow and not able to find anywhere in the settings to limit the WiFi internet speeds. Going to disable the WiFi on the modem and get a router, but need suggestions on which one supports this feature while having an easy to setup system.

Also would want the cheapest one because it's just for normal use, just need the ability to toggle bandwidth amount.

A NEXXT router will allow you to throttle the bandwidth to each IP/MAC. If you want more control, use something like pfSense, SmoothWall, MonoWall, IPCop, ClearOS or something similar. Place it on a mini PC and you're good to go.

That's all you need. Alternatively, you could get a DD-WRT/Open-WRT/Tomato router.

    Hope this helps.

Knowing the solution doesn't mean knowing the method. Yet answering correctly and regurgitation are considered "learning" and "knowledge".

Thanks for the suggestions but what would be the cheapest solution in the under $50 range?

Only one feature I need in the router and is the ability to reduce upload speed on WiFi. That one is on my list still in case the cheaper ones fail me.

Oh that one is in the same price range as one I was looking at (link below). Also did you have to do any firmware updating and what yuh use to control bandwidth?:

No firmware update. Just set upload/Download for ip address ranges using built in bandwidth control feature.
I reserved IPs for mac addresses that i know and set speeds accordingly. Set individually or use a range.
