@pezz, the screen is OLED which is not the same as the LED screens other manufacturers use. LG is the only one that makes OLED screens for TVs.

Plasma was formally the Gold standard in display quality which OLED has since surpassed.

At the end of the day it is a screen and that is all it is. It is capable of nothing without the base just like a monitor. You plug it to a source just like any other display.

Worth and simplicity are 2 different things. I suggested you know the difference.

I'm not going to argue with you about bells and whistle. When it can work without the base then will have all the bells and whistles.

You gone from one argument to the next to the next. There is nothing revolutionary about the screen. Oled, 4k. Hdr has been on the market.

Only thing new here is the thinness, which was achieved by removing components and placing them in a base.
