That game alone keeps my cpu usage at 100% and I still have my firefox running in the background with at least 60 tabs. I close most of them and just bookmark them though because with an SSD and high speed internet makes browsing feel like browsing folders on my computer and it's much easier to navigate as well.

I recently overclocked my almost 5 year old processor and it's performing to me like I just upgraded, so I might have this one till it gives out or I just get bored of it and go for another big upgrade.

I also thought you were going to go Zen but I'm guessing you saw that Kaby Lake 4.2 ghz boost right out of the box and be second guessing eeh .
    Yeah please show me lol.

I5s are weak cause for everything except gaming.

What does kaby lake or any cpu you would buy have anything to do with my choice? I don't do i3 nor i5s. Stay in your league lol. Bf4 alone max i5s at 60 fps.

Do your test and prove me wrong. Also how was that 2500k i5 you had before? Lol couldn't even record a video while playing a game.

I never owned a 2500k and those are still decent in games, but since you seem to be stuck under the AMD rock that wouldn't matter to you anyways.

I'll record my desktop and upload it tomorrow, but I don't use VM so I'll just record a video rendering and using all my threads while continuously opening tabs in firefox and multiple instances of VLC. That should prove my point .

It actually wasn't a good cpu for any real work. Just like any other i5.

Proof and this is just a game https://www.google.ca/search?site=&s...41.zKbbXFm3daI

For gaming, my fps is always locked at 60 (vsync). See screenshots below Crysis 3. Gpu and Cpu usage

Ok cool, Is the GPU always at a 100% load at 60fps?

An i5 will have 100% load even more so if your running above 60fps, My i7 will run between 25%-50%, with a demanding game like gta online, At 60fps but when i unlock it to run closer to my monitor's refresh rate the CPU will hit 90+% load at times.

Here's the video. Audio cracks up a bit near the end but that's the recording fault as I wasn't hearing it:

Everyone knows that the i5 has no hyperthreading, which is why it's recommended for gamers because of the price point. I just merely proved you wrong about what you said about the i5 I have not being able to do most of what you said it couldn't do. Also I don't own battlefield 4 so I won't be able to show the performance on that one, but as I said I own Black Ops 3 and when playing multiplayer, this the only game that maxes out my processor at 100% constantly. I am running it at 144 hz though and sometimes I see my fps going to 144 fps, so might be the reason why. I can prove that one as well if you think I'm lying .

I'll just do some tests while I put the system together.

Here is GPU usage. this is 1440p though not 1080p. GPU-z log.txt here http://pezzserver1.dynu.net:90/owncl...0t6uVYdwnSin33
