Give it some time..... They haven't been parading it just yet. But AMR-WB should be something that the network should see immediately (your phone sends its 'capabilities' in a registration message)

2 Channels for WCDMA (with DC-HSDPA) islandwide can't sustain > 1.3 Million smartphone users. FLOW has 2 WCDMA channels and around 300k smartphone users with DC-HSDPA and 3 WCDMA carriers in high traffic areas. Digicel says they have Jamaica's most advanced mobile network but thier customers still see switch downs to EDGE regularly :/

Coverage in Kingston & St. Andrew and MBJ Airport in addition to speed averages of 15-20 Mbit/s is hardly LTE to me.... I'll wait until Caricel or FLOW does LTE-A

Well, it's been almost a year since Digicel went live with HD Voice.... Have you all gotten a feel of it? Noticed a difference? Something tells me the competiton is gearing up for it as well so I'd love to know your experiences with Digicel's HD Voice network....

Honestly can't say I hear any difference. Calls sound the same now as they did back in 1999 ....
