Seems it's not just the Note 7 having problem with catching fire. Reports starting to surface about the Galaxy s7 too.

Plot you call it, I call it a tremendous disaster. The Flagship models/series are all exploding.... do I hear another recall coming? Time will tell, but honestly I am very glad this is happening to Samsung they have become too arrogant and "Apple like" I hope this will calm them down and force them to come with something godly with the Note 8 and (S8 to a lesser extent.)

This exactly why I am so happy all this is happening to Samsung. They are mimicking too much of Apple's ideologies....

When Apple revealed the new iPhone 7 without the headphone jack, the world stopped - finally asking if Apple had gone too far with its courage. Now there are rumors that Samsung's next-gen Galaxy S8 smartphone will also not have a headphone jack, and that's not good. Digital Music News says it has a source in South Korea that is in "the broader supply chain of Samsung's smartphones" that the new Galaxy S8 smartphone could have its own proprietary connector, just like the iPhone, moving away from microUSB and USB Type-C connectors on the Galaxy S7, and Galaxy Note 7 smartphones. Samsung's new connector would be incompatible with the Lightning ports on the iPhone, so there would be a proprietary connector that will annoy countless people. The stretch for profits goes wide and far, it is the courage that drives these companies to release some of the most popular products in the world without the standard we have on millions of devices - all without a clear benefit of what a proprietary connector provides, over the convenience of a 3.5mm jack.

Lol I find this one hard to believe. Proprietary connector on an Android phone?

But just watch all the Samsung fans go to LG now.

Not over here though. I've seen people switch back and forth, especially where I work.

I'm so sick and tired of them following Apple. That's one of the reasons I stop buying their phones. If I wanted an iPhone I would have bought one. They found a niche in this competitive segment and have now moved to start ignoring what made them popular to begin with by try to be like Apple.
I'm so glad that so many other companies are actually listening and making appealing devices.

Trust me fellow Techies it's disgusting what's happening to a Giant of a company like Samsung. They are throwing away their claim to fame, for what to be like stinking Apple.... what they fail to realise is that Apple's sheep are loyal and don't have minds of their own, so anything Apple gives them to eat they will eat it no questions asked.... Android users are goats.... we don't need a shepherd .... we find our own food, we are loyal to ourselves.... so Samsung will never be able to do what Apple does and get away with it.... not while other OEMs like LG are busy innovating and giving us back what Samsung is taking away case in point G5, V20 plus others. Next Year is going to be very interesting for Samsung... I for one am very curious to see what's gonna happen to their stock prices.
