Not sure why people want ir, I've used it and hated it lol, tried it in multiple tvs smart tvs dad's etc

Only thing I use is Sony song pal for my Sony shake system and that's Bluetooth

The remotes are much easier for me to use, and yes even the apps that are the exact remote on my phone I find annoying lol, my 2016 LG tv is quite alright being controlled by the remote and im not doing crap like using a Web browser on my tv lol, I hardly need to even use the remote just find what you want to watch an dress play

Scene mirroring us much easier anyhow and you don't need ir for that
