getting overall score 3983 and graphics score 3958.

Not sure this is a good benchmark for relative game performance though. For comparing hardware... MAYBE.

Remember this is a nvidia benchmark. Which is why it doesn't use alot of async. Just enough where it doesn't make pascal look bad.

I still welcome it. Gonna do a run

Not sure why mine is showing invalid score. I may have to redo the test as I did see another steam update come in. Might also overclock my CPU just to see how far I can bench as well when I feel like it.

So interesting stuff I read. As always Futuremark makes the benchmark for Nvidia cards.

The DX12 path is Nvidia only which uses preemption in for async. So this isn't using even half the resources of the fury. THe 1080 is using twice the compute resources of the furyX in this benchmark.

So 3d mark only FL11_0 of Dx12 and leaves out FL11_1 which would make AMD get more gains.

the 1080 is using 2.8x more compute resources to achieve the scores while most of Fury compute is still idle.

Don't be fooled people. Educate yourselves.

Yeah only two games I've seen benchmarks for on most youtube channels that seem to show AMD's DX12 potential and they are the Ashes game and Hitman. Hitman was developed side by side with AMD so it's already optimized for their hardware. I don't know, looks like it's up to the developers to decide who they want to support the most.

Finally overclocked my 5 year old processor to 4.4 ghz and managed to get some juice out of it. Even though the score is not much different from before, my system feels like I just upgraded my CPU .

If my processor was water cooled I would go for the 4.7 overclock, but I'm fine with this one I got for now:
