E3 2016 - death of consoles

So far the xbox presentation was good. Not sure about announcing a new console in the middle of a generation but whatever I do not care for VR or 4K.

I don't view it as a new console.

View it as a new resolution for the Xbox one. This one is supposed to make 4k playable.

They are still gonna use the same discs.

Proves even further that consoles are becoming more and more like PC's, or at least trying to be. Why would I want to switch to consoles again when most of the exclusives will be on PC from now on?

It's too bad Steam has so much varieties of their steam machines as they had the right idea, but not putting it out there in layman's term for the customers who just want to play certain games and getting the best performance for them.

Nintendo going off the deep end. They started fragmenting their games by selling characters.

When I load up smash bros I see players like Ryu. Total over kill per hit and only can be purchased. I wouldn't use that character anyway, would make the game too easy.

RYU is DLC for smash. DLC is downloadable content micro transactions that they sell after the game is out. everybody is doing it. I hope they put some tekken characters in smash.
