    Default

So i have found somewhat of a fix for my high temps, Turns out when i default to factory settings the CPU voltage is between 1.200 volts to 1.302 volts but the 1.302 volts it does it when it's idle sometimes anyway not all the time but at full load when rendering and benchmarking it stays at 1.200 volts! And at that voltage the temps are great 70+c with the H7 at full load and also when i default the bios settings but use XMP to run the ram at native speeds it bumps up the core voltage back to 1.302 volts constantly so i stop using XMP and adjust the ram speed directly. I've made a few overclocking profiles though 1. Is default with CPU core voltage at 1.200 volts and ram at native speed 2. Has a 4.4Ghz oc at 1.225 volts that's were it is stable with no blue screens while using OCCT to stress test ram at native speed 3. A 4.5Ghz oc at 1.255 volts again that's were it is stable ram at native speed with this oc i start to see the temps i'm seeing when the system was at default with the cpu core voltage at 1.302 volts. 4. A 4.6Ghz oc at 1.355 volts this one i didn't finish stress testing because 3 cores hit 100c after that i stopped the test seems to be stable at that voltage though cause when i tried 1.295,1.300 and 1.325 volts within 46 seconds of testing i would get a blue screen but with 1.355 volts no blue screens and i let the stress test run for about 2 minutes until i saw the 100c on 3 cores. So that was the end of my testing i just thought i would post it, My CPU seems to be on par with other devils canyon CPU's. [IMG][/IMG]
