Default Radeon rx 480 $199 omfg!!!!

Just out this morning the RX 480 is $199. Mind officially blown less that 150 watts and used only 1 6 pin pcie power connector, now i feel like crap for buying my 290X...........

I definitely will be buying 2. Though my FuryX is faster.

But this is awesome. Glad to see AMD back to old pricing.

Fury performance for Faster than Gtx 980 for $199. I am sold.

Yeah this is definitely a great price. If the yields are good they will sell tonnes at least until the 1060 comes out in August. But for this price I guess they are. However they have a huge gap upwards for the high end which will be interesting to see what they fill it with (RX480X or RX490). They say there will be more announcements leading up to the launch on the 29th.

Agreed. But this price point is the price point of the 960 at release. This is a huge blow to Nvidia provided the benchmarks are what they say they are. The 1060 to hit the price-to-performance sweet spot would have to be in the $135-$165 range, and knowing Nvidia I dont see that happening

Now you see why 1080 performing better than Titan X didn't impress me.... Because it should perform better than Titan X, it is progression.

Will have to see how it performs before considering ditching 290x. Suspect I don't need to. Can wait till vega.
