The convenience of just putting down the phone to charge is worth it for me.. the case on my phone is one where the ports have a flap, so I'd always have to pull the flap to charge, with the wirelss I just put it down and I'm good to go.

In terms of speed the wall charger Maybe charges 12 mins faster so not a big deal for me.

The only drawback I see with wireless charge is that you can't really charge and use the device at the same time., you can but it's not as easy as with the wall charger.

Other than that I recommend it to anyone.

Dumb dumb... Wireless charging isnt as fast as quick charge 3.0. It is a little slower than quick charge 2.0.

    Now laugh at that lol.

I dont need to use it to read current and voltage. I am not that slow.

I have on a very thick case and it works. I really don't see it not working because of a case, that would be one Hella case.

I would have gotten one for my car already but I can't get an OEM Samsung one, can only get generic, so I just have regular Samsung Fast Car Charge.

So wait, isn't the stick Samsung one a microusb input? Or its wired to the wall? I though I could just put the base in the car and plug it in the regular charger with the wore hidden

I'd need a separate car wireless charger? Of so why doesn't the Samsung store sell it? Lol

And what's the drawback to using a generic one?

USB input.. so you'd just plug your car charger into it....

I just think in the long run generic will mess up battery.. I've had it happen in the past with BBs

You wont have a problem with Generic. It does not connect directly to your phone. Your phone accepts what it is supposed to. It not like usb wher you can force more than what the phone can handle.
