Knowing the solution doesn't mean knowing the method. Yet answering correctly and regurgitation are considered "learning" and "knowledge".

Then how would you install it?
Unless you saying install the game first using the epic launcher, then remove it after?

No man Assassins Creed requires uplay. So when you claim it free from Epic and link to uplay, comes up in your uplay library so you don't need the epic launcher open as well to play. Sorry for the short hand explanation.

How do you link to uplay? I claimed it. I opened uplay but not seeing how to claim it.
Sounds like I still need to install the epic launcher before I can do what you saying. Just that I can remove the launcher afterwards.

EDIT: Ok never mind. You will need to download the game using the epic launcher as outlined here: https://support.ubisoft.com/en-US/Fa...mes-Store-ACS/
Thought I could claim it and then download it using uplay, because I already have uplay installed. But it's clear I have to download and install the epic launcher as well.

Yeah you have to claim it through the epic launcher first and link your epic account with uplay, then it will be in your uplay library and you can just download it there. Don't think you need the epic launcher after linking to uplay, but haven't tested this fully yet as only installed the game so far and haven't launched as yet.
