Credit Card Payment Terminal Setup Info

I need some information on how to get setup with a Credit Card Payment Terminal.

- How do i get setup with banks for receiving payment?
- I have a VeriFone VX670... is it compatible with banks in Jamaica?
- Any other info i need to know?

Each Bank has their own software installed on their terminals so I am not sure if they will allow you to bring your own unit. I would advise you to call MC Systems as they provide the software for the majority of the Verifone terminals.

I have VeriFone VX520 which I got form NCB .. as far as I know your bank will issue the machine already programmed to you.

If you have your own machine I guess you could call them and ask if they could program it for you, but I doubt they gonna do that due to security concerns..

I always thought a person could use their own machines. Thanks for the feedback guys. ill call the bank and get some more info
