    Default Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Laptop VGA card damaged

    i have a old but still working Fujitsu Siemens Amilo A1667G laptop but where i turn it on i see lots of green vertical lines on the screen. pulled it up and checked only to find out that it uses an vga card(graphics card). my question. can anyone repair/reball/rework and graphics card or can i get one of these cards here in Ja to buy?

    You could also just search for some other compatible graphics card for that machine. This model uses MXM Type 1 if I'm not mistaken.

    You'd have to do some digging on eBay. Just make sure it's MXM-I and not any of the others. If you have the original card (you should) just make sure you look at it and it matches - the connector and screw holes.
