I wasn't even going to mention the canvas tag, that feature alone has people building game engines specifically for web browsers. https://playcanvas.com/

Then there are the <audio> <video> <picture> tags specially for native rich media elements. Also, there is the "data-*" meta tag which means you can create your own custom elements which are added to the DOM tree. So you can create any tag element you think is missing from the HTML5 spec.

To say nothing cool has been added to HTML5 is low effort at its best and ignorant at its worst.

That's a really old movie. But Ming from DOE (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0138230/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1) didn't originally fight against those 4 (Flash Gordon, Phantom, Lothar, Mandrake) just Flash.

Still - if you want to look at it from the angle of the other Flash then there's lots of villains that want him dead.

Anyways. That's off topic. Back to the HTML5.

Oh, I know that movie lol. Saw it on JBC Sunday matinee once I think and now I kinda get it.

Those HTML games though pretty decent, just those annoying ads, but yet it free so...

I want people to show me cool stuff that THEY are doing instead of links to news articles. Productivity has gone way down since links posting has gotten so easy. I wish there was a high paying job for people who post links to stuff. here is a link to something; http://phoboslab.org/log/2015/07/pla...rowser-sort-of

So you want a link of something cool that has been implemented by the poster using HTML5? So we have to be using a technology before it can be cool.

Here is a link to a WordPress login page I did wayback. The first WP plugin I created. https://wzymedia.com/wp-login.php I have another one that uses a <canvas> tag for a similar effect but I can't link to it.

I also only use <svg> tag for all icons and logos on sites I build these days.

Again. The youngsters probably wouldn't know that either. Macromedia Dreamweaver. Heh. Good times.
