    Jah know star got hit with a ransom ware !!!files got locked

    Any suggestions? ?

    Need to know which one you got hit by. Is it the bit-locker virus?
    Knowing the solution doesn't mean knowing the method. Yet answering correctly and regurgitation are considered "learning" and "knowledge".

    So busy trying to deal with this yesterday...smh anyway it's the CBT Locker. I think i may have zero in on the machine but i'm wondering if it would have traveled to other computers.

    Nope, but it should work. This is why I don't use things like BitLocker. I rather TrueCrypt.
