People look up the history of DTAs. They were originally meant to act as a mini cable box for those that did not want a full blown cable box in every room. E.g. Your guest room. i.e. Low cost.

This one however is an advanced one that moves everything to the cloud (IP based). It allows the consumers to get more features than the previous cable box and similar ones to the HD box but it was never meant to replace a full blown HD PVR.

It would be nice if they also offered Evolution Digital's Dual Tuner Hybrid PVR for those us that prefer Live TV Time Shift and Recording and Recording 2 channels while watching live TV or playback.

Come to think of it, they can keep their bundles, won't be tying myself down in any bundle unless I absolutely have to. when LIME start to merge both company's products I might not have much choice, but until then.

I'm able to record an infinite amount of shows while watching Live TV...
I was able to record up to 7 different shows all at once while watching Live TV.

I guess the recording is based on how much hours of storage you have available..

In the configuration > System Information > Network Settings > Network Medium > You can change between 'Wired (Ethernet)' & 'Wired (Moca)' ... It's on 'Wired (Ethernet)' By default... guess I would have to talk to a Flow technician to really know what the Network port is for..

Hey, I am trying to figure out if i need to re-cable my house, which is wired for both cable and Ethernet.... Just trying to understanding, when connecting you new cable box via Ethernet cable, is there a special port on the on the internet router for the cable box? or it can go in any Ethernet port?

If your house was wired in a way that only one cable feed came into your house then they split it before it goes to your TV's then it will have to be re-wired as each TV needs it's own direct feed.. You will also need a direct feed for your modem..

Connecting an Ethernet cable to the Cable box does nothing... the box gets it's feed from regular coaxial cable..
