Samsung Galaxy S6 Battery Might Be Non-Removeable & Smaller Than The S5's Battery

All you peeps that love to swap batteries,.. you may soon have to say good bye..

We heard the other day that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 flagship will sport a 2600 mAh sealed battery inside, and now a snapshot inside a Chinese battery factory seemingly confirms this rumor. As you can see from the pictures below, which we dug out from the vast confines of the Weibo blogosphere, the battery packs are indeed marked with a 2600 mAh capacity, and their model number denoted as EB-BG925ABE.

Before you scoff at the 2600 mAh capacity, which is lower than on the S5, bear in mind that the Galaxy S6 will have a very frugal 14nm chipset. Moreover, we already have a handset out with the S6's rumored 5.1" Quad HD Super AMOLED display - the Galaxy S5 LTE-A - and its battery life tests showed that the panel is very power-sipping, too, performing on par with its 1080p sibling.

The Samsung Galaxy S6’s rear panel will reportedly be covered in glass. That, plus the metal unibody chassis the device is expected to have, means Samsung would have to give up access to the rear.

It likely wouldn’t be the end of the world for Samsung’s most loyal fans, but this could become a deal breaker for a crowd that only buys Samsung devices because of their flexibility. We’ll have to wait until its likely unveiling at Mobile World Congress in March to see if the device’s improved design was worth one of its most valuable features.

That is very hideous... Hopefully that is not the S6.

I have a feeling the S6 with look like the Note 4 and Galaxy A5.

I read in an article from my Blink Feed that the S6 is going to have a steep price because they are finally using aluminum body and some other expensive parts and it's going to be curvy and stuff. Didn't bookmark the news so can't post source.

Also no need to do battery swaps again when you can get portable chargers and with these bigger batteries that can charge in minutes, kinda don't need that method anymore.

Well everyone was crying for 'Premium Materials' and now sammy has done that but i guess they will be cutting some corners to keep the price down
