Apple reported quarterly earnings Tuesday that managed to surpass even Wall Street’s lofty expectations after analysts predicted a record quarter for the tech giant. Apple did, in fact, post record sales numbers following strong holiday sales that included a 46% increase in iPhone sales.

Apple racked up $74.6 billion in revenue last quarter, a 29.5% gain on the same period a year before. Earlier on Tuesday, Fortune polled 35 analysts who expected revenue to increase by about 20%, to $68.7 billion, while Apple’s own guidance for the quarter predicted $66.5 billion in quarterly revenue.

According to a teardown report from research firm IHS, the components and manufacturing cost of a 16GB iPhone 6 cost Apple $200.10. The device is selling for $649 in the U.S. without a contract with a wireless carrier. That gives the device a profit margin of about 69%.

Of i could hide my online status in whatsapp in an iPhone 6 plus I would buy one right now, lol, apart from that I don't see any reason to use anything apple nit even an apple tv

My iPhone 6 is near perfect... but My Note4 edges it based on my needs.. So I tend to leave the 6 at home more time..
I have a 6+ as well, But it's too big, Not that it's way too big, but it is just bigger than my Note4.

My iPad Air2 is near perfect...

I don't consume music on none of my Apple devices so I don't really have to worry about iTunes..

An iPhone is just bare bones and straight to the point.. It just works.. My Note4, Lags at times, scrolling is not butter smooth, just some little annoyances, Damn brightness and quick search/connect in notifications taking up space and cant turn off without app.. grrrr

I really hope lollipop enhances the Note4, I doubt it thou..

It *should* enhance it since lollipop is supposed to be more efficient all around. You'll just have to pray that Samsung doesn't add more bloatware in their update lol.

KitKat is not bad.. it's TouchWiz I'm worried about..
