CryEngine? Nah sah lol. SFV uses UE4, just like Tekken 7. Everything before it was Capcom's proprietary engine. NT framework is what I think its called.

Hmm I know SFV uses UE. But I am almost certain while playing Ultra SF4 I saw the cryengine logo.

    Will check later and see.

Caan really tell the difference between the UE4 and Cryengine eeh?

Only fighting game I'm looking forward to on steam right now is Dead or Alive 5: Last round.

It has high hit combos, just not with all the fancy animated hit animations like SF. It's more like a Tekken/SF crossover but simpler.

I've never really liked the way DOA felt myself. It's ok, but has always felt kinda loose and the hits lack impact.

Gameplay trailer for Charlie. Looking great so far. He even has Rugal's Genocide Cutter apparently.

    Graphics are looking better too.

I got a chance to play the beta for a few hours this weekend. The game feels great, and it actually makes going back to USF4 a little hard lol. Links are a LOT easier to pull off this time. This makes high damage combos much easier for the average Joe to learn. Hopefully this leads players to focus more on the fundamentals of SF that so many overlook (spacing, poking, proper jumping etc).

I have some PS4 Beta codes for those that want them. These are for US PSN accounts, which is what most people in JA use, I'm guessing?
