Now Getting 48 Hrs From my S5

Basically turned off or disabled allot of stuff in my S5 and I'm now able to get 48-50hrs on one charge..
I use to barely get 8-12hrs..

Things I did..

- Set screen to auto adjust
- Set all transitions effects to 0.05x
- Turn off all Vibration
- Turn off screen touch sounds
- Turn off haptic feedback
- Disable SVoice home button
- Turn off all gestures and smart stay
- Turn off 'Ok Google'
- Mainly Black Wallpaper
- Location Mode: Power Saving

Did some other little stuff, but Can't remember... gonna do same to my Note4..
Using the Note4 Charger to charge S5 I get about 80% charge in 15 minutes..

My dumb phone - a Sumsung radio phone - lasts me almost the entire week

Batteries are being worked on for stuff like this. Ones that charge in a few minutes. Ones that charge "wirelessly". Ones that have higher capacity with smaller sizes. We'll see where it goes.

I've tried these u think, but cannot use auto brightness in the day at work, direct sunlight has to be full brightness, but apart from that I could never get a full day on any phone, not even a note 2 or 3, I guess I use phones too hard...

I am quite happy with my battery life. No problem with putting it on charge every night.

Well the battery technology has to catch up. Smart phones use less and less power each year.

Well the one I use the Most is "Smart Stay". Cant live without it.

The Gestures I have at least works as advertised.

And Google now is a must for me. Tells me everything I want to know from weather, how long it takes me to get to work, sports etc.

Smart stay only works in good light.. It don't work at night at all.... and night is when I would mostly need it..

I still use Google now,.. I just disable the Always listening 'OK Google'

If you are talking total darkness, ofcourse it wont work -_-. That is what you use to say "it doesnt work as advertised"?

Low light or daylight it works perfectly on my Note 2 so it must be better on what you are using. At night can your front camera see your eyes?
No, so why would Smart Stay work? Lol dah bredda yah man.

Yeah Google now is so useful. Leaves siri and svoice way behind.

Oh and another thing, I always use live wallpaper.
