It would have been nice if it was USB indeed.

I was able to boot up Unreal Tournament 3 (45-60 FPS) and it ran great with default settings and resolution of 1600*900 will test out some more settings and then make a video.

I want to join the club but the price to me is just too high. The Surface Pro 3, if it was still available, would be ideal and cheaper to buy however as it isnt available from the stores i've looked at the Surface Pro 4 is just out of my price range.

I have. The microsoft store only has the Surface pro 4 and the Surface 3 (non-pro version). Now the Surface 3 is a good buy nonetheless, but i would prefer the pro version.

This is simply down to the 2ish inch bigger display, the higher resolution display, The want for an Intel core i5 cpu in the thing and 8GB RAM.

The surface 3 only has Atom cpu's and up to 4GB RAM, 1920x1080 resolution and it does have a better set of cameras i believe. But cameras is not enough to sway me towards the cheaper surface. Id just prefer to spend that bit more for an i3 or i5 and more ram than the atom and 2/4gb ram

With the Atom processor? and with what RAM?

Is it quick enough to use? I've never really looked into the regular surface 3, only the Pro's
