    Good stuff! I will tell anyone I know complaining about spam!

    If is one thing that grinds my gears it's spam, and I'm not easily annoyed, lol

    AFAIK it's a part of their targeted marketing packages that businesses can purchase. If you opt out then you get none of their special offers - none. That's the down-side to it. It's good to know that the Android app allows you to opt-in/out as you please though.
    Knowing the solution doesn't mean knowing the method. Yet answering correctly and regurgitation are considered "learning" and "knowledge".

    What about those that don't have a smart phone what opt-out option is there for them?

    Call digicel and ask them to take you off, but as said people have done that and been out back on

    I used to simply put a silent ring tone or block the few I got


    Used a pre paid for a day or two once and it nearly drove me crazy!

    Actually I did call them a over a year ago to remove me from their list and they told me flat out NO
