    Default iCloud hacked

Now, I know persons should employ extra care when placing their stuff in the cloud, but the number of celebrities who's accounts were compromised is really amazing, now I say this, Apple is the only company who could have suffered a breach like this and can potentially walk away scot free. Marketing is a hell of a thing.

Some reports suggest that it was a brute force attack against some accounts. The hacker just tried using different passwords until one of them worked. It appears as if iCloud did not have a feature to lock the account and notify the owner after a number of failed login attempts.

From what I have read, the iPhone automatically backs up data to iCloud. So if you want to delete a picture, you need to do it in both places.

If so it is no ones fault but Apple's. They have the worst security.

And just as when they told the users they arent holding the phones right. They never take blame See link below.

Latest reports are it was actually a vulnerability that was exploited which has subsequently been fixed - not a brute force attack
