Does anyone know if Digicel supports Voice over LTE (VoLTE)?

I spoke to a guy in Digicel's business department about a month ago. He told me off the record that they're testing LTE now, and planning to launch by year end. If y'all are buying phones, make sure they support the 700Mhz band (Band 17)

That's nice. Not very optimistic though. My current attitude towards our local services is pretty apathetic.

I've reached to point where I only send emails and text. Respond if you feel like or don't. Life goes on.

I do very little voice communication nowadays...just way too exhausting and stressful. Just thinking about making a phone call stresses me out:

    The dropped service.
The asking the other party to repeat themselves. "...weh yu say?..."
The being asked to repeat myself "...mi seh mi..."
The Barrage of text SPAM from the service providers themselves.
The US pricing standard @ below US performance and quality.

Seems like a cruel joke on a very poor country.
Capitalizing on the unaware. Not a nice thing at all.
I'm in agreement, but at the end of the day we still have to choose one of their packages.
I'm looking to make the switch to LIME the minute number portability is available or I can figure out how to let everyone start calling me on my LIME number instead.

My issue with ALL dual SIM phones is that they don't pack the best specs that I'm used to with my Note3.
My Note3 has spoilt me royally. The Oppo comes close though

I was not aware of this. Consider me informed.

Due to my limited use of the overall service I haven't felt the need to upgrade my device in a pretty decent while.
