    Default Apple Releases New Programming Language: Swift

    Apple triggered much buzz among computer enthusiasts when they released Swift, a new programming language to create iOS and Mac OS X apps. The new language is designed to be modern, fast, and easier to learn than the code commonly used today.

    Saw var for creating variables. I immediately thought Javascript, then closed the page.

    its probably for implicit types like in c# but you probably like writing out the whole type name

    OK. You have any experience developing fro Cocoa API. I wss thinking about developing for the App Store atonepoint.

    the syntax looks alot cleaner that objective-c so i think id try it out if is made not necessarily open source but cross platform
